The staff was quick to help with any request, always friendly and accommodating. The pool was just the right depth for the kids, and the breakfast spread had tasty options, especially the waffles we made ourselves!

The heated pool was a surprising delight on a chilly evening. let’s address the cleanliness: both rooms had a strong odor, visible dirt, and uninvited pests. Housekeeping was inadequate; requests for towels went unanswered. The breakfast area was mishandled, and my family felt uncomfortable with unexpected visits from staff. While there were some bright spots, the lack of attention to cleanliness and guest discomfort overshadowed our visit. Improvements in maintenance and training could elevate this place significantly. I hope future guests have a better experience.

I loved how close we were to everything we needed for a fun getaway, with the beach just a few minutes away by car and a lovely grocery store just a short walk down the street; the hotel itself had friendly staff, clean rooms with good amenities, and a fantastic pool that was perfect for the kids. I think the room cleanliness could be improved.

The location is just a quick 5-minute drive to the beach! We loved the heated pool and relaxing hot tub. The kitchen was super handy for snacks and breakfast – it felt like home!

The room was always at a comfortable temperature, and the cold AC was a welcome relief after a hot day outdoors. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. We encountered issues with dirty bedding, blood stains on the mattress pad, and an overall lack of attention to detail in cleaning. It was disappointing to see that our requests for room cleaning and sheet changing were not fulfilled, despite assurances from the staff. On the upside, the staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. They were quick to address our concerns, although it was discouraging to hear that similar issues had occurred in the past without a satisfactory resolution. The TV service provided by Spectrum was frustrating to use, making it difficult to access local channels or find free views. This detracted from our relaxation time in the evenings, as we could not enjoy watching TV due to the service's operational challenges. our experience at Alister Square Inn was marred by cleanliness and service issues, despite some positive aspects like the convenient location and friendly staff.

The staff were genuinely friendly, which was a high point for us. Quick, complimentary breakfast with Texas-shaped waffles was a hit with the kids. the thin walls made it hard to sleep with noise from the neighbors. We faced some frustrating issues with double charges and a lack of urgency from management regarding our concerns. The room’s cleanliness left much to be desired, especially the bathroom. While I appreciate that pets are welcome, aggressive dogs in the next room added to our unease. It's a mixed bag, but there's potential if they improve overall maintenance and communication.

The bed was uncomfortable, making sleep difficult. Pillows were hard, and the bedspread looked unwashed. A musty smell lingered in the room, and the carpet felt sticky underfoot. The air conditioning worked well, providing a nice, cold relief. Bathroom cleanliness was an issue; there was hair in the shower, and the tub bottom was dirty. Breakfast options were limited, with soggy eggs and watery batter. We hit up the Beachfront Resorts and chilled at the Condo Rentals with endless vibes! The Aquatic Center and Aquarium blew our minds with epic sea creatures. Port A and Rockport Harbor , where the fun never ends! Perfect spots for young party, goers like us!
Could've used a cool on, site nightclub for late, night turn, ups. Time to amp up the party scene for us, party animals!

Our stay at the hotel was made enjoyable by the prime location and friendly service. We appreciated the variety at breakfast and found the staff to be knowledgeable. The room was comfortable, and we had a pleasant experience overall. Despite a few minor inconveniences, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The condo rentals were spacious and well-equipped, perfect for our large family. The kids loved the Rockport Harbor Aquarium nearby, adding a fun and educational touch to our trip.

Our stay at this beachside inn was absolutely fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort during these challenging times. We appreciated the extra precautions they took, such as exchanging linens and towels using convenient outside bags. The property was immaculately clean, with fresh updates throughout, including new curtains, paint job, and shower curtain. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.
The only minor flaw we encountered was a slightly dirty/stained inner shower curtain. However, it didn't detract from our overall positive experience.

we had a great experience at Alister Square Inn. the front desk was very helpful and nice. the entire staff pulled together and had our room clean, the facilities maintained, and all had very good inviting attitudes which made me appreciate my stay even more. the breakfast was great and we were happy to get a room on the bottom floor. the room was good size and the beds were fairly comfortable. the cleaning staff was great! they were so friendly and accommodating. the pool was nice and clean. they have a couple of tables and plenty of loungers. also, they provide pool towels that you must sign out. the breakfast is just continental. they do have a good variety but not much in the way of protein. parking is adequate and the place is easy to get in and out. it’s also close to shopping.

clean rooms and linens - no pest issues, and nice cold a/c. great location within walking distance to many places with great service and value. the entire staff pulled together to provide good inviting attitudes which made me appreciate my stay even more.
